The Search

We people usually look for God when we need Him. And this is obviously not bad, it is very good, but it is by no means sufficient and it does not completely cover, or rather, it doesn’t even begin to approach the issue of the relationship between man and his Creator. The relationship with the living God, as well as any living relationship, is based on reciprocity, otherwise it is not a relationship but a transaction, like a trade deal.

The true relationship, the living relationship, includes conversation, articulation of speech and eulogy, understanding, perception and co-perception, contains the bond and function of feelings of loyalty, search with on both sides. The living man needs the living God through a lively relationship, which includes all kinds of resultants, without limitations and exclusions. The result shows whether such a relationship exists, if it works, whether it produces fruit, whether it is continuous and has a long future, or whether the signs of aging, bending, failure and ending are visible.

Great miracles and great changes do not always require the need for sound acts and events. More often than not, major changes are almost silent and unobserved. The fact that the results of them are deafening later does not mean that the intensity and the publicity were the same as the act from which they came from. The case of the treatment of congenital blind is typical.

A private conversation, a spitting on the ground, a blind man washed in a small water tank, are all silent acts and events, almost private. Few take part in the action, few actually speak, and few realize what is happening exactly. Many though, will try to understand later, to interpret and examine, judge and criticize or praise. In big events the real witnesses are few. We all want to be present and have an opinion in the results, even when we obviously have no true knowledge

Coming of Age

The darkness we have from birth, the defects, the dead ends, poverty and the disasters we have inherited from our parents and ancestors – flaws, darkness and dead ends that we are not responsible for, are things we should not cry about and mourn our fate, nor to live in misery and frustration, but they are a challenge, an opportunity, an occasion to move from the surface to the bottom, from the superficial to the essence, from the daily sadness and misery, the moral and the mental defeat to the conquest and experience victory in our daily lives.

If our visual angle changes and behind the superficial we look for the essence, if we are armed not with a spirit of cowardice and defeatism but with a spirit of force, if we are armed with the spirit of search, inquiry and persistence, then we will discover the treasures and opportunities that are hiding behind the denial, behind the defects, the dead ends, and the disasters. And then, not only will we defeat, but we will plunder the enemy that frightens us and wants us to flee, become losers and blind and return to the darkness instead of the light, to misery and not to victory and conquest.

Beneficial, not Harmful

The benefit is a concept that’s relevant to something and its value depends on each individual. Something that is beneficial to me may not be for someone else. It may be indifferent or even harmful.

The personal element is therefore what assesses the benefit or damage, profit or loss. And this criticality of personal appreciation makes us cautious in our choices. Because, in everyday life we ​​all choose the beneficial and not harmful things. Whether the benefit is great, is known only to the one who has implemented his plan and appreciates the consequences. If the goal was good and the method I applied was successful, then in any case, I can assess the outcome and evaluate the benefit or the damage. The responsibility and the assessment are therefore individual and we are all judged by the result that should be the benefit rather than the damage.

Inspiration

Inspiration is the main concern and the main pursuit of all of us in our everyday life. We all seek a new element, an attractive element that will make our lives better, bring more happiness and cover our needs; practical, emotional and spiritual. We all know that every discovery is due to an inspiration, to a ray of light that suddenly enlightened our mind and gave birth to something new.

Then we all enjoy the fruits of the discovery, but we forget that the credit goes to inspiration and to the one who gave the inspiration. If, for the things resulting from a discovery, we attribute value to the person who made the discovery, it is obvious that greater value belongs to the one who gave the inspiration, to the one who created the conditions for the inspiration to come. And we must discover it and render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.
