The Living God Transforms

Our everyday life is tiring. The repetition becomes a routine without interest. The lack of a new horizon narrows the limits of our lives and leads to frustration and withering, both for our interests and for our actions. We all need renewal. We all want a new beginning. We all want to forget the old and welcome the new in our ideas, our relationships, our dreams, we want a wind of renewal to blow in everything and redesign our lives and goals.

We all look for the best, for the excellence that will bring again interest in life, interest in new roads, thoughts, actions, productivity. We al want this because it is good and perfect. And as long as we do not succeed, our struggle in everyday life stays the same, tedious and without effect. Hope always stays there and waits for our right and effective moves to attain our goals.

God Speaks and Guides

Our everyday life has darkness and light, facilities and dead ends, joys and sorrows, and once could complement in infinite situations and personal experiences with corresponding content.

All of us prefer the positive and easy things and we move away from the difficult and unpleasant ones. And that is the human nature. We prefer things nice and easy, and avoid difficult and unpleasant things. Every course that requires extra effort, as a rule – although there are exceptions to the rule – is not the way we want to go. But we all agree that the things we remember from the difficult times are more than the things we remember from quiet days.

This tells us that although we avoid them, our consciousness is shaped during these times, our personal history is written; this happens in the dead ends we managed to find a way out from and stand on our feet, that’s where our personal thermometer has captured our most extraordinary performance, and engraved with the incandescent chisel the image of success. And that determines our lives. The rest of the days are a break and not the goal.

Knowledge Can Set Free

Nowadays, more than any other time in history, we know that knowledge can set free. We demand from the doctor we visit to have the necessary knowledge to free us from our illness, and from the pilot of the plane we are boarding and the driver of the vehicle that transport us, we all want them to have the necessary knowledge, because knowledge is a prerequisite for success.

Indeed, it is well known that the better we know a subject, the more comfortable we can manage. And this also applies to our soul and mind. The better we know ourselves the better we can manage our everyday life without surprises and dead ends. And the better we know the truth and value of God’s gifts, the more we invest in deeper knowledge and resolve the practical issues that concern us not in our own way, but in God’s way, which He has institutionalized for our everyday life.

You Know the Holy Word

There has always been a degree of understanding between generations. In the beginning every generation is different from the previous one. Later on however, it also gives way to the next one, and this cycle repeats itself every thirty years or so. Young people consider the older ones to be conservative and the older consider the younger to be rebels.

It is obvious though that if this is repeated, meaning today’s young people become tomorrow’s conservatives for the younger generations, there is a secret that connects and unties the generations of people among themselves and that is the aging of the body and the change of technology.

The interests of the young and the older are different, resulting in the creation of a distance in perceptions about everyday issues and not only limited to that. A secure link in order to maintain a smooth relationship between generations is the exploitation of those items that are of value to both the old and the young. Values for life and even more so, values for the best possible life are the best thing we can all cultivate for the common good. And we need to discover these values and cultivate them when we are young and as we grow older.
