The benefit is a concept that’s relevant to something and its value depends on each individual. Something that is beneficial to me may not be for someone else. It may be indifferent or even harmful.
The personal element is therefore what assesses the benefit or damage, profit or loss. And this criticality of personal appreciation makes us cautious in our choices. Because, in everyday life we all choose the beneficial and not harmful things. Whether the benefit is great, is known only to the one who has implemented his plan and appreciates the consequences. If the goal was good and the method I applied was successful, then in any case, I can assess the outcome and evaluate the benefit or the damage. The responsibility and the assessment are therefore individual and we are all judged by the result that should be the benefit rather than the damage.
