Supplies are called the things that are necessary for our survival on a long and difficult journey and especially in war.

Without them we do not start our journey because we know there will be no return. And it is precisely this necessity and this importance of the supplies that creates the danger of an enemy who will take advantage of the opportunity and distort or counterfeit or reduce the quantity of supplies with the aim of never ending the journey or losing the war and battle.

And this sabotage does not have to be done before departure, but it can be done at any time during the journey or the war. For this reason it is necessary to be alert and protect the supplies, because without them the death, whether it’s sooner or later, is absolutely certain, although the general and supplier has organized not only the journey but also the quantity and the quality of the supplies with absolute precision, in order to satisfy our every need.

Although the modern picture of life does not include springs and rivers in our daily routine, since water is now running through the faucets of our house, we all know that the source is the point from which water comes out and it has some characteristics.

First it does not stop and it does not end shortly. Second, it’s always fresh, lively, cool. Third, it is clear of any factor that would not want us to drink clean water. Fourth, it is free. Fifth, we can choose from which source to drink; from a source with limited water or from a source of abundant water. Sixth, we can look, try, and reject. Seventh, it does not change place.

And finally, no one can interrupt the exit of water from the source, as opposed to the tap where not only if we have not paid the bill but also if someone maliciously and arbitrarily wants to deprive us of the basic and necessary good for our life or if the water transport system has been damaged or has been completely destroyed. And it is obvious that this is not a plumbing and domestic economy lesson.

The darkness we have from birth, the defects, the dead ends, poverty and the disasters we have inherited from our parents and ancestors – flaws, darkness and dead ends that we are not responsible for, are things we should not cry about and mourn our fate, nor to live in misery and frustration, but they are a challenge, an opportunity, an occasion to move from the surface to the bottom, from the superficial to the essence, from the daily sadness and misery, the moral and the mental defeat to the conquest and experience victory in our daily lives.

If our visual angle changes and behind the superficial we look for the essence, if we are armed not with a spirit of cowardice and defeatism but with a spirit of force, if we are armed with the spirit of search, inquiry and persistence, then we will discover the treasures and opportunities that are hiding behind the denial, behind the defects, the dead ends, and the disasters. And then, not only will we defeat, but we will plunder the enemy that frightens us and wants us to flee, become losers and blind and return to the darkness instead of the light, to misery and not to victory and conquest.
