The title indicates the process of transferring wealth from one person to another. Someone has something and gets something more that adds to what they already have, so they get richer. Someone has something and loses it, making them poorer.
In other words, the acquisition adds and the loss reduces our existing wealth. And this is not only true in acquiring what is necessary for our everyday lives, but it also applies to our inner world, our mental world, which depends not only on my everyday life but also on my future. However, while in daily transactions we are capable of gaining, increasing our wealth, as a rule this is not the case in our dealings and exchanges when we come to our inner world.
Whether out of ignorance or out of pitiful and doubtful interest, we overlook the profits of our inner world and focus our interest only on physical and material goods and how to increase them, while if we were more careful, we could have physical and material goods, without our inner world suffering.
The ignorance of the values of life, the sloppiness, the bad choices, the disinformation, the power of our environment has on our decisions, have the effect of increasing our wealth, while becoming more and more poor in our inner world; beggars and unable to resist to the things that obviously damage our personal life.
