The basic principle of the success of our goal is the desired outcome. So, what we perceive as success is, if the result we strived for has come from our own work. In any other case it will be an exercise, useful but unprofitable. Because, results are everything. For this purpose, Christ does not analyze His teachings in theory, but uses practical examples, not only to help people understand Him, but to avoid misunderstandings.
These practical images used by Christ, should not be seen as weakness and simplicity or populism, but on the contrary they enable anyone, to embark on deeper and more fundamental quests, while standing on a solid basis. This way, it leads us from the surface to the bottom, from simplicity to complexity, from drafts to formal and from darkness to small light, to more light, to living water and ultimately to life.
